FAQ

Comparison FAQ.

Does the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor measure CO₂?

No. As of the latest publicly listed specifications it does not include a CO₂ sensor — it measures PM2.5, TVOC, humidity, temperature and carbon monoxide. Envora One adds a dedicated NDIR CO₂ sensor, which is the single most important channel for ventilation decisions.

Can I get the raw numbers out of Amazon's monitor?

The Amazon device exposes a coloured indicator and summary status to Alexa users; raw numerical history and integrations with non-Alexa platforms are limited. Envora One exposes every channel via API, MQTT and CSV.

Is Envora One worth the price difference?

If you care about the data, yes. The Amazon monitor is an indicator. Envora One is an instrument — eleven channels, calibrated, with a paper trail and integrations from day one.
