What tenants see and do not see
- 7-day average humidity per room (not minute-by-minute occupancy patterns)
- Daily mould-risk flag (yes/no)
- Daily ventilation summary (was the property ventilated this 24 hours, yes/no)
- Last 6 months of monthly humidity ranges
- A simple traffic-light status: green / amber / red
Tenant-safe access does NOT show:
- Minute-by-minute readings (which could reveal when the tenant was home)
- Audio readings (which we do not record anyway)
- Sound-level peaks (which could imply occupancy)
- Any other tenant whose property is on the same Fleet account
Why transparency matters
1. Demonstrates that the landlord is taking the property seriously.
2. Gives tenants actionable information (ventilate more in the bathroom, dry laundry on the line not on radiators).
3. Builds a documented record both sides can refer to.
4. Reduces the likelihood of a complaint escalating to the Ombudsman or Tribunal.
Landlords who choose NOT to share access remain fully able to use the data internally — tenant-safe links are an option, not a requirement.
