FAQ

Comparison FAQ.

Is Envora One's CO₂ different to Awair's?

Yes — Envora One uses a dedicated NDIR CO₂ sensor with ±30 ppm + 3% accuracy. Awair Element uses an estimated CO₂ (eCO₂) value derived from VOC sensing, which is less accurate for true CO₂ levels (especially in bedrooms and meeting rooms).

Can I use Envora One without the cloud?

Yes. Local-only mode keeps readings on your LAN. MQTT runs against your broker, the REST API serves from the device, and you do not need an Envora cloud account.

Does Envora One have an Awair-style score?

Yes. Envora One emits a fused IAQ score from 0 to 100 alongside the raw values, so you can pick the level of detail you want.

Will I lose any features without a subscription?

Not on a personal household. Live readings, alerts, app, dashboard, history, MQTT, REST API, CSV export and Home Assistant — all included for the life of the device.
