Do home users need a subscription?
No. Home monitoring is included for the life of the device — live readings, alerts, app and web dashboards, history, firmware updates and integrations. Buy the hardware once and you keep it all. No paywalled safety alerts, ever.
What does Fleet add?
Fleet adds the management layer organisations need: multi-device dashboards by site, role-based access (RBAC), audit log, SSO at Estate and above, scheduled reports, signed webhooks, tenant-safe access links and long-term retention (5–7 years). Home users do not need any of this.
Can I start with one device?
Yes. One Envora One on the Home plan is a complete, supported setup. You can add more devices over time, and switch to Fleet whenever you need the management features — your data and history move across with you.
Can I export data?
Yes, from any tier including Home. CSV export from the dashboard, REST API for current and historical reads, MQTT for live streaming, webhooks for event-driven workflows. No rate limits for personal household use. Your data is yours.
Can I cancel Fleet?
Yes — month-to-month, no contract minimum. Cancel and your devices keep running; you keep the hardware, the local integrations and the last 3 years of history on the Home plan (organisations needing more should remain on Fleet). Annual plans pro-rate the remaining months.
Is the Home plan really free?
Yes. Home monitoring is included for the life of the device. Buy Envora One or Envora Radon once and live readings, alerts, app, dashboard, firmware updates, local integrations and 3-year rolling history are unlocked for the life of the device. We will never paywall a safety alert in a personal household.
Can a business use the free Home plan?
The Home plan is for personal household use only. Organisations, landlords, schools, clinics, offices and commercial sites should use Envora Fleet. Fleet pays for the management layer — multi-site, users, reports, audit, SSO and long-term records — that organisations need beyond a household dashboard.
What counts as a managed device?
Envora One and Envora Radon each count as one managed device. Future accessories may have their own pricing or bundle rules — we will publish those clearly before launch.
Which plan should I pick?
Pick the smallest plan that fits your device count, site count and user count. Home covers personal use up to 5 devices on 1 site. Fleet Starter (£3/device/mo, £15/mo minimum) covers small landlords and single-site teams — up to 3 sites with 5 users. Fleet Team (£5/device/mo, £49/mo minimum) opens unlimited sites and users, RBAC, alert routing, scheduled reports, API and signed webhooks. Fleet Estate (£7/device/mo, £149/mo minimum) adds SSO, audit logs, the calibration vault and a 2-hour SLA. Enterprise is bespoke — for national estates, NHS trusts and regulated environments that need on-prem, custom DPA or SCIM.
How does per-device pricing work with the minimums?
You pay the higher of (devices × per-device price) or the plan minimum. A Fleet Starter org with 3 devices pays £15/mo (the minimum); the same org with 6 devices pays £18/mo (6 × £3). The minimum protects us against the cost of running a Fleet org that has very few managed devices; the per-device rate scales linearly above it.
How long is data kept?
Home and Fleet Starter retain 3 years of rolling history per device. Fleet Team retains 5 years. Fleet Estate retains 7 years — long enough for compliance reviews, lease audits and ESG reporting. Enterprise can negotiate custom retention as part of the DPA.
Can I step up or down between plans?
Yes — at any time, with no migration. Step up and the new features unlock immediately; step down and we keep your archived data warm for 90 days in case you change your mind. Annual plans pro-rate to the new tier.
How is billing handled?
Card or invoice, monthly or annual. Annual billing knocks two months off the year — £30/£50/£70 per device per year. Minimum annual charges are £150/£490/£1,490. No setup fees, no per-user charges, no per-seat charges. Purchase-order-friendly invoices in GBP, EUR or USD.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
Devices keep running on the Home plan — but only if you are a personal household. Organisations should stay on a Fleet plan for continued multi-device, multi-user and reporting access. Either way you keep your hardware, your local integrations and your last 3 years of history.
Is there a per-user fee?
No. Fleet Starter includes up to 5 users; Fleet Team and above are unlimited users at no extra cost. Home does not impose a user limit at all.
Are there discounts for schools and charities?
Yes — registered UK / EU schools, charities and community projects get 25% off Fleet Starter, Fleet Team and Fleet Estate. Drop us a note with proof of status and we will set up the org with the discount baked in.
Do you offer on-prem / self-hosted?
On-prem ships at the Enterprise tier — same dashboard, deployed in your VPC. Pricing is bespoke; talk to sales. Note that you do not need 500+ devices to qualify for Enterprise — a 100-device NHS or regulated industrial customer often goes straight to Enterprise for the procurement, security and DPA terms.
