Why continuous monitoring matters now
A spot inspection during a dispute tells you the humidity right now. Continuous monitoring tells you the humidity for the last 12 months — when it was high, for how long, and what changed. That distinction is the difference between a contested dispute and a documented record.
What the data shows
- Relative humidity and temperature, minute-by-minute, per room
- Dew-point trend (the real predictor of surface condensation)
- CO₂ as a ventilation gauge — was the tenant ventilating?
- VOC as a cleaning-chemistry gauge
The combination tells you whether the property has a structural damp problem (high humidity that does not recover even when ventilation is good), an occupancy problem (high humidity correlated with closed windows and high CO₂), or a building services problem (broken extractor fans, blocked trickle vents).
How a deployment works
Devices ship plug-in; the tenant just connects to WiFi. Tenant-safe access links can show summary data (not raw room-by-room) so the relationship stays transparent.
Envora Fleet (£3/device/mo at Starter, £5 at Team) provides the multi-property dashboard, monthly per-property health reports and CSV exports for dispute evidence.
